As minds wander, ideas and images emerge and appear. Some fleetingly so, disappearing, never seen again.  Others swirl and coalesce, forming lasting connections that repeat and change over time, becoming stories of self, some that may be real, others not so.

Tales of Unseen Stories explores the speculative imaginaries of storied selves as fluid, mind-wandering creations that move and evolve across time and space, fueled by fusions of memories, feelings and experiences.

Drawing on a personal archive inherited from an enigmatic, unknowable uncle, Tales of Unseen Stories combines rephotographed and reworked original slide images with a soundscape that explores the relational entanglements, uncertainties and absences within photographic archives and narrative selves.
